Privacy Policy
This policy describes the current implementation. One genuine Google AdSense manual ad unit is enabled on the homepage below the “How to use this tool” guide, with consent handled through Google’s certified CMP.
Conversion data and browser processing
Rotation calculations, matrix parsing, canvas rendering, and local file parsing run in your browser. Changing camera controls does not change the numerical input. If you sign in, conversions can be sent to the existing account service and stored in your conversion history. Do not use confidential data unless you are comfortable with the applicable storage and access arrangements.
Accounts, contact forms, and technical data
The existing account integration uses Supabase for authentication, profile data, and saved history. Contact form submissions include the name, email address, subject, and message you provide, plus a user identifier when signed in. They are submitted to the existing database, and the form attempts an email notification through its existing server function. Hosting, authentication, and other service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and browser information to operate and secure their services.
Local storage and essential functionality
The app uses browser storage for account sessions, cookie choices, anonymous visitor and conversion identifiers, and saved camera settings. Some older tool preferences are stored independently of the cookie controls. The settings dialog does not retrospectively erase all such data. You can clear site storage using your browser controls; this may sign you out or remove local preferences. Uploaded playback and model data are handled by the browser’s current session.
Google advertising and third-party cookies
A single genuine Google AdSense manual ad unit (“Rotation Converter — Below Guide”) is configured and enabled. It appears only on the homepage, immediately after the “How to use this tool” guide, and is separated from the converter controls and example buttons. Login, loading, error, confirmation, navigation-only, legal, and contact screens remain ad-free. The AdSense serving script loads once per page, and each ad element is initialized once after its container has a usable width. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, limit repetition, detect fraud, and personalize ads based on prior visits to this and other websites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may serve ads and process associated browsing information. Non-personalized advertising can still involve cookies or other storage and may still require consent. Until Google approves the site and returns a paid ad, the slot may render blank; a blank slot while approval is pending does not mean the integration failed.
Consent and advertising controls
Advertising consent is handled through Google’s certified consent management platform (Funding Choices, configured in AdSense under “Privacy & messaging”), not through this site’s custom Cookie Settings dialog. Google Consent Mode v2 defaults are set to “denied” before the AdSense script loads, so no advertising cookies are set until a visitor grants consent through the certified CMP banner. The custom Cookie Settings dialog records only local preferences and is not a Google-certified advertising-consent signal; it does not activate or deactivate ad serving. In regions that require consent, ads serve only after the certified CMP grants it. Account and tool storage that is not wired to these preferences is described above.
Personalized-ad opt-out options
You can manage Google personalized advertising in My Ad Center at myadcenter.google.com. Google also explains partner-site advertising and data use at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. For participating third-party vendors, visit aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.com. Browser controls can block or delete cookies. Opting out of personalized ads does not necessarily eliminate advertising or essential measurement.
Privacy requests
To ask about access, correction, or deletion of your account or contact data, use the Contact page or email the confirmed public contact address support@rotationconverter.com. Include the type of request but never your password. Applicable rights depend on your location and the circumstances of processing.
