Use the tool responsibly and independently verify engineering results. By using this website, you agree to these usage terms and applicable laws.
Purpose and availability
Rotation Converter is a numerical conversion and visualization utility. Core conversion and reference content are accessible without an account; an account is optional for saving history. Availability of browser-specific exports depends on your browser’s capabilities.
The service is provided as is, without a guarantee of suitability for any particular engineering or safety-critical application. Independently check input validity, output precision, source and destination frames, units, and receiving-library conventions before relying on a result.
Numerical limitations
The app does not automatically normalize quaternion input or repair invalid matrices. A matrix determinant alone does not prove a valid rotation. Euler values are not unique and become ill-conditioned near gimbal lock. The numerical checks guide describes the implemented diagnostics and tolerances.
The current Passive/Active input and output paths are explained in the conventions guide. The tool cannot infer frame metadata from an unlabeled matrix or quaternion. A rendered model is a visual aid, not validation of a physical system.
Accounts and appropriate use
You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for activity through your account. Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with its operation. Do not submit passwords or confidential datasets through the support form.
Respect applicable rights in site content, uploaded models, and datasets. The application uses third-party libraries with their own licenses. Upload or distribute only material you have permission to use.
Privacy and questions
The Privacy Policy explains account storage, contact submissions, local preferences, and advertising disclosures. Advertising is currently disabled pending configuration and consent review.
